These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of jobja (jobja.org). By signing in, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the jobja web application, APIs, or related tools, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into this agreement.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using jobja immediately.
2. User Accounts & Google Authentication
You may create an account via passwordless magic email link or Google Single Sign-On (OAuth). You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and maintaining control over the email account associated with your profile.
Google OAuth Sign-In is utilized solely for user authentication and account access. We strictly comply with the Google APIs Terms of Service and Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
You agree to immediately notify [email protected] of any unauthorized access or security breach involving your account.
- One Account Per Candidate: Accounts cannot be shared or transferred.
- Accurate Representation: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information when using the platform.
- Compliance with Law & Third-Party Rights: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights (including privacy and data export laws) and will not use Google APIs to encourage or promote unlawful activity.
3. AI Assistance & Human-in-the-Loop Review
jobja provides automated AI assistance for extracting job descriptions, structuring application statuses, parsing resumes, and generating career insights.
All AI-generated extractions, summaries, and suggestions are provided as draft aids. Artificial intelligence models may occasionally produce imperfect or incomplete interpretations.
4. Acceptable Use Policy & AI Safety
You agree to use jobja exclusively for lawful personal job search and career management purposes. You agree not to:
- Create, generate, upload, process, or distribute AI-generated Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (AI NCII), sexually explicit material, or unlawful deepfakes.
- Use Google APIs or artificial intelligence capabilities to promote illegal activity, harassment, defamation, or violation of third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or proprietary AI prompts of jobja.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to overwhelm, abuse, or bypass platform rate limits.
- Upload malicious code, harmful payloads, or fraudulent materials.
- Violate third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or confidentiality agreements.
- Violate any Google Terms of Service or Google API Services User Data Policy.
5. Ownership & Intellectual Property
You retain 100% ownership and copyright of your resumes, cover letters, personal notes, and career materials uploaded to jobja.
jobja and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the jobja software, user interfaces, logos, branding, and proprietary workflows.
6. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellation
Certain advanced capabilities (such as expanded AI extraction quotas and advanced resume styling) may require a paid Pro subscription.
Subscription payments are securely handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the end of the current billing cycle through the account billing view.
7. Limitation of Liability & Termination
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, jobja is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.
